The Christian education of our parish children is an important ministry of our church. These programs are guided by our Director of Religious Education and Director of Confirmation who offer support and educational training to those assisting in these programs. Adult volunteers are always needed and welcome.
Classes are held from September - April.
First Penance and First Communion are usually celebrated in Grade 2. On occasion younger and older children ready to receive the sacrament are also included in these classes. Confirmation takes place in high school. Preparation typically begins in Grade 9, and students receive the Sacrament in Grade 10 after Confirmation Program requirements are met. For additional information about upcoming youth events, please contact the High School Youth Ministry Office (x 113) or Youth Ministry office (x 118), 630-232-0124.

It also helps girls to discover their natural talents and place them at the service of the Church and society. Challenge is designed to help adolescent girls go out into the world as strong and authentic Catholic role models where they can make a positive impact. Challenge's "recipe" for success is based on the combination of doing Apostolic work and formation. The dual approach helps to unite girls with Christ in order to live virtue, find happiness and make a difference. The mission of Challenge is to evangelize and transform the world by forming today's young girls to give their very best to others so that the Christian culture will prevail in the hearts of everyone they meet.
